The #1 Rule of Buying Art: The Designer's "2/3 Rule"
The most common mistake people make when buying art online is choosing a size that is too small for their wall. A small painting on a large, empty wall often looks "lost" and can make the room feel disjointed.
When in doubt, always size up. A larger statement piece instantly elevates your space, tying the room together and creating a luxurious, gallery-like aesthetic.
Interior designers recommend that your artwork should fill about 2/3 of the available wall space or the width of the furniture below it.
- Above a Sofa: If your sofa is standard size (approx. 100"), your painting should be at least 66" wide.
- Above a Queen/King Bed: Choose a piece that is 60" to 80" wide to create a stunning bedroom focal point.
- Grand & Empty Walls: Don't be afraid to explore our Oversized (80" and up) options. A massive painting transforms a plain wall into an immersive experience.
Painter's Tape Trick 💡: Use tape to outline your chosen dimensions on the wall. Step back, look at the whole room, and ask yourself if the space could handle a larger, more impactful size.
Important Note on Rolled Canvas
If you order an Unstretched/Rolled Canvas, we automatically add an extra 1 inches painted margin around the actual artwork size. This ensures you have enough canvas to easily stretch it over a wooden frame at your local framing shop.
How Would You Like Your Artwork Finished?
Each handmade painting is a masterpiece. Choose the perfect finish to showcase its beauty and elevate your space.

Oil painting came secure and well protected.
Love this in my new home office! It’s perfect. I had to wait a bit but worth the wait!
I am completely thrilled with my purchase. The painting is beautiful! The customer service is beyond expectations! The care and attention to detail is unsurpassed! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Excellent
I had a great experience. I appreciated the updates, the photo of the final artwork for approval and shipping was efficient. I’m in love with my painting! The quality is fantastic and it looks amazing!
From placing my order to communications and delivery, every was smooth and quick. Im thrilled with the painting and has transformed my guest bedroom to another level.
Painting is beautiful. Great service as well
Great service and love the art work. It came very well packaged.
Well worth it! It was packaged very well and the quality is beyond what I expected.
It’s gorgeous! I just wish I could have got it bigger but love it
The artist was very receptive to changes needed to the pieces and we are thrilled with how they look when they arrived.
it arrived fine but the frame was shipped in a wooden crate. It was almost impossible to get into the box. It took two people, hammers and wedges to open it. Also, worrying that the artwork would be damaged in the process. I reached out to the company for suggestions or instructions on how to open it. Twice, no reply.
Great experience! My questions were answered promptly and I love my painting
Worth every penny!
My experience with Zeydrt1504 went without a hitch. Great communication, very reasonnable delay, very good delivery (product well wraped and protected). I have nothing negative to say about this experience.
Love love love my painting and customer service was absolutely the best. They kept me informed through the entire process.
Overall happy with my purchase , don’t expect it to look exactly like photos online but it is an original in its own right so you have to expect slight deviation .
I was disappointed in the picture. I actually did not like it sorry.
I had ordered the 'horse painting', which is wonderful. Unfortunately, the painting arrived with a damaged frame. The frame could not be repaired, so I took it to a local framing shop, so they could install a new identical frame. The new frame for the painting will not be ready for 2 weeks, and I am anxious to hang this painting on my wall. With some 'back & forth', and because I had shipping insurance, the cost for the new/replacement frame is being reimbursed. I am delighted with the painting itself, and also thrilled that the issue of a damaged frame was resolved.
We remodeled the master bath and the new art work is the finishing touch. It looks great. ✅
Great
